Dear Dance Families,

Showstopper and Dynamite Auditions

Auditions are canceled for the day and rescheduled for tomorrow.   We made the best decision possible given the data at 5AM.   Please see weather advisory below.  We can not rent the theater for a partial day or simply start late.  The audition will take place at the Edward Nash Theater at Raritan Valley Community College on Sunday, January 22nd.  The times will be the same ones previously scheduled for Saturday.   These times can be found at gotta-dance.com under EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES then AUDITIONS.  Tomorrow morning may be icy.   We can not cancel again.   Please park you car at the end of your driveway or plan to carpool with a friend.

ALL SATURDAY DANCE CLASSES ARE CANCELLED! All Sunday classes will go on as scheduled. 

Winter Weather Advisory

Statement as of 3:58 AM EST on January 21, 2012

... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 2 PM EST this
afternoon... 

* hazard types... snow... sleet and freezing rain.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches... along 
with up to a tenth of an inch of ice.

* Timing... snow will fall moderate to heavy at times through about
9 am before mixing with sleet and freezing rain. Precipitation
will be tapering off during midday or early this afternoon but
temperatures may not rise more than a degree above freezing. A
hard freeze will follow tonight. 

* Impacts... widespread slippery driving and walking... especially
on untreated roadways and sidewalks. Motorists need to use
caution when driving on bridges and overpasses... where icy spots
can easily develop.


Precautionary/preparedness actions... 

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
