Alison Levenberg join Gotta Dance in 2013. She is originally from England and trained professionally at the Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts (now Bird College), London, graduating with Distinction, where she also gained teaching qualifications in the nationally taught I.S.T.D. syllabus.

She has performed on Broadway in the ensemble of "42nd St" Revival, and as swing and dance captain in "Billy Elliot". Alison subsequently went on to become the Resident Choreographer, and then Associate Choreographer for productions of Billy Elliot across the US, Amsterdam and the UK. Alison was also a Radio City Rockette performing at Radio City Music Hall, NYC.

She can also be seen in the movie "The Producers" featured as a 'Tapping Brown Shirt' in "Springtime for Hitler", a 'Pearl Girl' and 'Little Old Lady'. Regionally, Alison has performed and was Dance Captain at Pittsburgh CLO, her favorite shows there include "The Who's Tommy", "White Christmas" and "Cats".

Alison is an accomplished tap teacher and coach, having had much experience in the UK before moving to the US and she continues to share her passion for tap through teaching at various schools and conventions in the tri-state area. Her active involvement in musical theatre and passion for the arts are a perfect combination to give dancers confidence, technique and personal fulfillment in their work. Miss Alison is Gotta Dance's Competition Team - Immortal Dance Force - Tap Choreographer.
